Volume 25, No.2 was one of the best selling issues of Windsock Worldwide.

No doubt this was, in part, due to the copy being in full colour. The trend continues here with their latest edition. There are 32 pages between the soft card covers and as usual offers a wide variety of subject matter.

Lance Krieg continues his “Modelling Master Class” series with this installment concentrating on workbenches and tools. There are plenty of images to help the education process and anyone familiar with his high quality of work will appreciate the advice he passes on.

The UFAG C (Brandenburg W29) is number 18 in George Haddow’s guide to WWI Austro-Hungarian naval aeroplanes. He supplies his own 1:72 scale plans, in addition to a selection of highly interesting photographs. Bob Pearson contributes to the article with his usual competent artwork and supplies 3 attractive colour profiles.

The Alcock A.1 is covered by Colin Owers and this unusual aircraft is also given the luxury of general arrangement drawings. These are provided by the author and are reproduced in 1:48 scale as well as the regular smaller size.

Ronny Bar gives a photo report from the Omaka Easter show in New Zealand. Among the pictures presented are those of the recently restored RAF BE2f, Avro 504k and FE2b.

The review section gets extended coverage and includes books, journals, decals and of course all the latest from the kit manufacturers. The later confirms 5 more releases from the remarkable stables of Wingnut Wings and the issue is rounded out with a page devoted to readers’ letters.

Once again Albatros Productions have produced an issue that provides something of interest for all WWI model aircraft enthusiasts.
