Quickboost continues its prolific release schedule with a number of recent
releases in 1/72 scale.
All the sets are perfectly cast in grey resin with
minimal cleanup required. Consistent with Quickboost's philosophy to
date, each set has been designed with a minimum of
parts, and should be straightforward to assemble
Most are self-explanatory but I have added some notes as appropriate:
QB 72 188 - F/A-18 Hornet Elevators for Hasegawa
QB 72 189 - A3D-2 Skywarrior Radome - Early Version
QB 72 190 - Junkers Ju 88 G-6 VS 11 Wooden Propeller
QB 72 191 - Junkers Ju 88 C-6/G-1 "Schrage Musik" Gun Barrels
QB 72 192 - Junkers Ju 88 G-6 FuG 240 "Berlin" Radome, Short Version
Quickboost has released threee more accessories for Hasegawa's family of 1/72 scale Ju 88 kits.
The first two are replacement propellers for the G-6 kit, and obliquely mounted "Schrage Musik" gun barrels for the C-6 or G-1 kits.
The final release is a one-piece, short-version "Berlin" radome. The Luftwaffe's late-war FuG 240 radar was covered with a plywood streamlined nose cone. This was quite a transformation for the Junkers Ju 88 G-6. Quickboost has made this conversion extremely easy in 1/72 scale with its one-piece resin Berlin nose.
QB 72 193 - Hurricane Antennas
QB 72 194 - Focke-Wulf Ta 152 H Corrected Cowling for Aoshima
This is a much-improved cowling for Aoshima's 1/72 scale Ta 152 H kit. Some care will be required when removing the casting plug at the front of the part.
QB 72 195 - Focke-Wulf Fw 190 A/F Undercarriage Covers for Revell
see image at the top of the page.
QB 72 196 - F-16 Block 5-10 Floating Elevator
QB 72 197 - MS.406 Wheel Well for Hasegawa
