Academy's 1/32 scale F/A-18C Hornet is available online from Squadron

Here is my new 1/32 Academy F/A-18C Hornet.

I made a number of additions and modifications:

• added Aires’ cockpit and exhaust nozzle set upgrade kit.

• scratch built the electronics bay with copper wires and styrene strips.
  

• added hydraulic and brake lines using copper wire and styrene strip to detail up the landing gear bay and undercarriage structures.
  

For painting, I airbrushed black colour patches as “pre shading” then covered them with a thin layer of Gunze Mr Hobby Color Acrylic Paint C307 Grey FS36320 on the top and C308 Grey FS36375 on the belly to simulate the real appearance of the “in operation” mottled aircraft.
