Tamiya's 1/48 scale F4D-1 Skyray is available online from Squadron

Here is my new F4D-1 Skyray from Tamiya in 1/48 scale.

This excellent kit leaves litte to wish for in terms of accuracy and detail.

A little to wish for, however, is still not enough. Therefore photo-etched parts from Eduard, a Wing Fold Set from Cutting Edge and the cockpit and radar from CMK found the way into this model

.

The decals are from AeroMaster for a machine of the VF-162. I had very good photos of an aircraft fro this unit and I really found the spraying cool, simply said.

I've had a lot of fun by building this model. Everything fitted perfectly, so there were not any great obstacles during construction.
