Here we are again with 3 Italian A.N.R. Bf 109s. All kits are built straight from the box using only Sky Models and Aeromaster decals sheets.
The first Gustav is the personal airplane of major MARIO BELLAGAMBI, North Italy 1945, fifth “squadriglia” second fighter group “aeronautica nazionale repubblicana” (A.N.R.). Mario Bellagambi, was one of the most important pilot and ace of Regia Aeronautica (Sicily 1943), A.N.R. (SEPTEMBER 1943/ MAY 1945) and F-84 Thunderjet pilot of the Italian air force during the 1950’s .
This Messerschmitt is painted in RLM 81/ 82 over RLM 76. Patches on the engine covers painted in Italian dark green.
The second Gustav was operating in North Italy in 1945 and was assigned to second “ squadriglia”, first fighter group of ANR . Camo RLM 81/82 over RLM 76; rudder tail in 75/83.
The last Bf 109 is a rare -K4 with ANR colours. In fact only 3 K-4s were used by ANR during WWII. This one was assigned to third “squadriglia” , first fighter group. Camo type “OS LITE” : RLM75/83 over RLM 76; rudder tail in 75/83
