Asao Shirai has visited the 2008 Shizuoka Hobby Show and shares some photos and news:
Last week the 2008 Shizuoka Hobby Show was held in Japan.
This is the biggest plastic model trade fair in Japan and the work of the plastic model clubs were also on display. 155 model clubs participated this year, and more than 70,000 visitors attended. This also makes Shizuok the biggest plastic model show in Japan.
The latest releases and newly announced kits from Tamiya, Hasegawa, Aoshima, and Bandai may be seen at Shizuoka city in May every year.
My photos show some of the trade and model club displays.
You may also see new products from Hasegawa, the Japanese battleship "MUTU", and the "Toryu".
Tamiya's forthcoming 1/48 scale A6M5 Zero in 1/48 scale may also be seen here.
