Spencer Pollard from Military in Scale magazine shares some impressions and images of the forthcoming Airfix 1/48 scale TSR.2:

I just received a test shot of the new 1/48 Airfix TSR2 that I'll be building for a Military In Scale feature and thought that you might like to get a flavour of what this kit is all about!

The model is huge of course, and well detailed. It seems to be showing that Airfix are starting to really get into their stride. For instance, the surface detail is particularly well done.

As for fit, the parts that I've either glued together so far, or dry-fitted, seem to indicate that this kit will be easy to assemble with little or no filler being reqired - unlike it's smaller 1/72 cousin!

So, here are some of the bits and bobs - I hope you like seeing them as much as I'm enjoying build it. If anyone wants to know any more about the kit or needs any more pictures, let me know.
