Red Roo Models has released another fine new product, this time for the civilian airline market.  The set covers seven DC-3 aircraft belonging to the now defunct Australian airline, Ansett-ANA.

The decals are superbly printed with good colour saturation, perfect register and thin carrier film.  The carrier film is one piece making it necessary to trim each decal individually before soaking in water.

This sheet is being marketed by Red Roo and is made for them exclusively by the Valley Car Shop in the US.  This explains the different printing technique to other Red Roo decals that I have reviewed in the past.

Very little details or history are provided on the instruction sheet and one has to presume that the aircraft are painted white overall before applying the decals.  A list of reference books are provided but I feel that not providing colour scheme details and the years applicable is an oversight by the manufacturer as an extra cost is imposed to obtain the reference details.

Markings are provided for 7 aircraft:

DC-3 Skyliner
VH-ANH, VH-ANS, VH-ANZ, and VH-ING

DC-3 Cargoliner
VH-ABR, VH-ANV, and VH-ANX
