MasterCasters has produced two resin items for the Special Hobby 1/32 P-39D Airacobra. 

The first set is a trio of resin wheels .  The level of detail on the replacement wheels is similar to that of the kit parts but without the need for assembly or filling of seams.  In addition, all three resin wheels are weighted and feature a very subtle and convincing bulge.  The kit wheels are unweighted.

 

 

The second resin set features beautifully detailed fish tail exhausts needed to convert the Special Hobby P-39D into an RAF Airacobra Mk.1 (note that the Mk.1 and P-39D had minor differences in armament as well, but this should be a simple issue for modelers to address). 

The parts by MasterCasters replace the (equally impressive) resin tubular exhausts in the Special Hobby kit.  Some assembly is required because each fish-tail exhaust stack is molded separately.
