Aviation Workshop’s range of 1/72 scale resin aircraft accessories is expanding with these four new releases,

The parts are crisply moulded in very pale yellow resin and they have captured in 1/72 scale all the detail contained in the full size counterparts.

In this review I cover four extra detail parts for the F-16 Falcon and one for the Hawk 115/128.  The parts have a small amount of residual resin flash from the casting block that is easily removed with a sharp hobby knife.

Assembly should be very straightforward with no serious modification required of the kit plastic to allow the new parts to fit.  Modellers with very little modelling skills could install these detail sets.

The sets reviewed are:

CS-137 BAe Hawk 115/128 Centreline fuel/baggage pod

This detail set contains one resin part for the fuel/baggage pod.  The Hawk 115/128 must have a wet centreline pylon as all other models of Hawk do not have provision for a fuel tank on the centreline pylon.  Baggage pods were previously made fro modified gun pods.  This tank is much slimmer and streamlined than the gun pods.

CS-122 F-16 Falcon Conformal Fuel Tanks

This detail set contains two resin parts for the over fuselage conformal fuel tanks.  These have been nicely moulded and look to be a simple fit to late model F16 Kits.

CS-125 F-16 Falcon 600 Gallon Fuel Tanks

The set contains 2 x inner wing pylons and 2 x 600 Gallon tanks.  The set is designed for use with the Revell F-16 kit but can be adapted to fit any manufacturer’s F-16 Kit.  The parts have a small amount of residual resin flash from the casting block that is easily removed with a sharp hobby knife.

CS-124 F-16 Falcon Generic Avionics & Parachute Fuselage Spine

The set contains three resin parts to be added to the kit’s fuselage to model any version.  The set is specifically designed for use with the Revel F16B kit but I think that it can be adapted to fit any manufacturer’s F-16 dual seat kit.  The part has a small amount of residual resin flash from the casting block that is easily removed with a sharp hobby knife.

CS-123 F-16I Sufa Avionics Fuselage Spine

The set contains one resin part to be added to the kit’s fuselage.  The set is specifically designed for use with the Revel F-16B kit but I think that it can be adapted to fit any manufacturer’s F-16 dual seat kit.

These are very nice upgrades to increase the detail in these kits and will look very realistic when fully assembled and painted.

Thanks to The Aviation Workshop for the review samples
