Hasegawa's 1/72 and 1/48 scale Harrier GR.7 kits come with a 70% LERX (Leading Edge Root Extension), although all newly-built GR.7s were fitted with 100% LERX and all GR.7s converted from the earlier GR.5 would eventually be retrofitted with the larger extension too.

Alley Cat has now addressed this issue with 100% LERX parts in both 1/72 and 1/48 scales.

The parts will be a simple replacement for the separate 70% LERX in Hasegawa's kit of either scale. The 1/48 scale LERX will also fir Revell's re-boxed Harrier kit.

In each scale, the conversion comprises a single part in pale salmon coloured resin. Intakes, vents and slime lights are all cast authentically in place. Preparation will be very simple, with a small strip of resin to be removed from each side of the LERX's rear.

Instructions are supplied on a small sheet with five steps of text directions and photographs showing the waste material to be removed, and the part in place.

Alley Cat's 100% LERX sets will be warmly welcomed by anybody building Hasegawa's 1/72 or 1/48 scale Harrier GR.7 kits.

Highly Recommended.
