Classic Airframes' 1/48 scale American Spitfire VC is available online from Squadron.com

Here are some photos of my Classic Airframes 1/48 scale Supermarine Spitfire Mk.VC.

The model was built straight from the box except for the substitution of a de Havilland spinner and propeller assembly.

Markings for four Spitfires in American service are included. These are beautifully presented, but I could not resist finishing my Spitfire in the markings of 54 Squadron RAF, based in Darwin (Northern Territory in Australia) during 1943. The curse of the Spitfire is too many fascinating marking choices!
