Description

 

A "MIG Killer"!

This is my Hasegawa 1/72 scale F-4J Phantom II, wearing VF-33 markings during deployment to Vietnam aboard USS America.

I used a large number of aftermarkets products - seats from Pavla, etched parts from Airwaves, exhaust and instrument panel details from Verlinden, decals (hundreds!) from Superscale and my spares box (my reference sources don´t confirm the accuracy of mission markings on the right splitter plate but, even so, I used them).

Some scratch built parts completed the cockpit, some weathering and the bird was ready for the photos. I hope that you will like it!
