F-22 Raptor

Here is my 1/48 F-22A Raptor from Academy. This brand new kit was released in Korea around three weeks ago.

I built it straight out of the box.

Since I chose a flying F-22 rather than a Raptor on the ground, assembly was extremely simple and only took a couple of days to complete.

For the most part fit is very good with no putty required except to address a minor fit problem around the air intake lip area.

The decals, printed by Cartograf of Italy, are superb in quality and cover almost every unit operating the deployed Raptor at this time.

For your information, the kit includes 2 AIM-9Xs, 2 AIM-9Ms, 6 AIM-120Cs and 2 JDAMs for weapons.

I hope that you will this new Raptor in 1/48 scale.
