Trumpeter's 1/350 scale USS Yorktown is available online from Squadron.com

And now for something completely different - at least for me.

This is my very first ship build, and will be my only one because it cost me over a year of modelling time!

I proudly present my USS Yorktown, represented in early 1945 after overhaul in Puget Sound.

This is the Trumpeter kit in 1/350 scale.

The White Ensign Models Photo Etched set plus perforated catwalks have been used to enhance the basic kit plus various miscellaneous parts from dÁrsenal (rafts, jolly boat, etched armament etc)
