IPMS UK Nationals 2007 - ScaleModelworld

Here is a small selection of some of the new and forthcoming releases, people and events seen at last weekend's IPMS UK Nationals:

MDC's 1/32 scale Arado Ar 234 was on display. They also had samples of their 1/32 scale Me 262 A-2a/U2 glazed nose bomber conversion for Trumpeter's kit.

SAM Publications new book on USAF variants of the F-4 Phantom II was available.

Here is the crew from The Aviation Workshop. A number of new releases were on hand including three decal sheets associated with the recent "Wings of Silver" book; plus the new title on aircraft of the Ark Royal.

Vintage Fighter Series' 1/24 scale P-47D Thunderbolt is almost ready for release. A set of production sprues were on display. These revealed some useful options, including corrugated or flat cockpit floor, and alternate style wheels.

Aeroclub had several new releases available for the show including their ingenious biplane jig (pictured below), and their new 1/48 scale Tiger Moth.

Resin parts and decals from Freightdog Models forthcoming 1/72 scale Hawker P.1154 were at ScaleModelworld.

Wolfpack Designs made their first appearance at this year's ScaleModelworld with a selection of new releases for modern US subjects, plus a conversion for Hasegawa's new 1/32 scale Hien.
