Matthew Starr has
compiled a photo CD of the famous Messerschmitt Bf 109 G-2/trop, "Black
Six".
Matthew has
unparalleled access to the airframe, resulting in 504 images of every
nook and cranny of the airframe, inside and out.
You will not find any
bells and whistles with this product - no menus, no fancy viewers or
extra features. What you will find is an amazing amount of
photographic detail on this beautifully restored aircraft.
Modellers and fans of
the Messerschmitt Bf 109 will find these photos to be very helpful when
requiring information on details usually hidden behind sealed hatches
and closed canopies.
Reproduction of the
vast majority of photographs is good, with nice colour balance. Some of
the photos are a little dark or inconsistent in focus or composition,
but this is hardly surprising considering the challenges imposed by
shooting in cramped quarters and in the difficult lighting of a museum.
Matthew Starr's Bf 109
G photo reference CD will be very useful to modellers and other fans of
the Augsburg Eagle.
Recommended.
