QB 72 117 -Beaufighter Mk.X Radar and Tail Fin
This set is designed for Hasegawa's 1/72 scale
Beaufighter Mk.X. With the exception of a limited edition offering, most
versions of Hasegawa's Beaufighter kit do not include the large fin
fillet of thimble nose radar.
Quickboost has addressed these omissions with two
perfectly cast parts, offering more finishing options for Hasegawa's
excellent yet underrated Beaufighter.
QB 32 033 - F-14A Ejection Seat with safety belts
These are two gorgeously detailed ejection seats for
Tamiya's big 1/32 scale F-14A Tomcat. Harness straps are cast in
place. It is interesting to compare the approach of this seat, with its
cast-on belts and one-peice construction, compared with Aires similar
seats with separate straps and photo-etched detail. There is no right or
wrong, but it is nice that modellers have the choice of either approach.
The overhead ejection handles are cast onto the block,
and should be easy to slice off and install.
The seats are identical. They will look fantastic after
careful painting and weathering.
