To me, there has always been something luxurious about cast brass landing
gear legs. Pete's Hangar has now released new landing gear legs for
Revell and Heller's Mirage III kits. Please note that this is a
completely new and more detailed set compared to the Mirage
undercarriage released by Pete's Hangar in 2003/04.
This new set comprises forward and both main gear legs plus separate
retraction struts.
The parts are simple, and beautifully cast. There will be very little
cleanup required. The instructions state that the legs have been
designed for the Revell kit, so check the fit against the Heller kit if
you choose that option.
Cast brass gear legs are well detailed and add strength to models.
Pete's Hangar's new gear legs for Mirage III kits in 1/72 scale
are a welcome (and luxurious) finishing touch.
