Eduard continues its prolific release schedule with a number of recent
releases in all scales from 1/144 to 1/24.
We have a selection of October's 1/48 scale releases here for examination. All the
detail sets are
supplied in colour pre-painted or unpainted photo-etched metal.
Another recent innovation by the ingenious Eduard
company is that the colour frets in all these releases are now
self-adhesive. This will eliminate the risk of obscuring detail on tiny
parts by smearing them with glue. The self-adhesive parts will require
careful handling to maintain the effectiveness of the glue, and precise
placement too.
The self-adhesive parts are packed on a protective
backing sheet.

Luftwaffe Air Crew WWII
A single colour etch fret of tiny markings for 1/48
scale Luftwaffe aircrew uniforms. These will add an authentic finishing
touch to your aircraft dioramas or vignettes.
49 380 - Il-2m3 Stormovic Self Adhesive
Interior and exterior details for the Accurate
Miniatures single seat Stormovik. The colour photo etch differs from the
set supplied in the recent Eduard boxing of this kit in that it is
self-adhesive. Detail is gorgeous, with colour instrument panel, harness
and the strap for the unfortunate and exposed rear gunner.
Exterior details for the airframe and undercarriage are
supplied as unpainted photo-etched parts.

49 381 - Fulmar Mk.I Interior Self Adhesive
48 572 - Fulmar Mk.I Exterior
MPM's 1/48 scale Fairey Fulmar Mk.I gets the full
treatment with two new photo etched sets from Eduard. The first supplies
colour and nickel plated details for the cockpit. Colour parts include
the instrument panel, radio and harness straps. The colour fret is
self-adhesive.
The exterior set supplies comprehensive coverage of the
airframe and undercarriage.

49 382 - JAS-39D Gripen Double Seater
Italeri's 1/48 scale two-seater Gripen is an attractive
model, but it is let down by poor detail in a number of areas. The large
cockpit tub is one area of focus for Eduard's new photo-etched detail
set. Instrument panels, side consoles, harness straps and other detail
parts are supplied in self-adhesive, coloured photo etch.
The exterior is also offered a makeover using this set.
The entire exhaust area is replaced with photo etch, with many more
parts detailing the remainder of the airframe.

49 391 - Sea Hawk FGR Mk.6 Self Adhesive
Trumpeter's 1/48 scale Sea Hawk features gorgeous
exterior detail, but the cockpit is disappointing. Eduard's detail set
offers a colour photo-etched facelift with an new instrument panel,
harness straps, ejection pull handle, warning placards and more.
A second fret provides details for the exterior.

FE 392 - He 219 Uhu Self Adhesive
The full set includes two colour etch and one nickel
plated fret. Colour detail parts cover the interior and exterior of
Tamiya's excellent 1/48 scale scale He 219 Uhu kit.
The colour parts are focused on the cockpit, with
instrument panels, side consoles, radios, switches and harnesses
delicately printed on self-adhesive photo etch.
The third and fourth fret contains parts for the wheel wells,
engine nacelles and
exterior.
The basic colour cockpit fret is available separately as
Zoom set no. FE 392.

49 393 - He 162 Spatz Self Adhesive
This set includes two colour etch and one nickel plated
fret. Colour detail parts cover the interior and exterior of Dragon's
older 1/48 scale scale He 162 kit.
The colour parts are focused on the cockpit, with
instrument panels, ejection seat parts, cockpit plumbing, switches and harnesses
delicately printed on self-adhesive photo etch.
The third fret contains parts for the wheel wells and
exterior.
