Contact Résine has added wheels for 1/32 scale P-47 kits
plus Trumpeter's 1/32 scale Dauntless family to their growing range of accessories.
The Dauntless set comprises the main wheels and a
replacement tail wheel assembly. These will be very much appreciated by
modellers who do not like the vinyl tyres supplied with Trumpeter's
kits.
Two styles of P-47 main wheels are offered - covered and
six spokes. These will be suitable as replacements for the plastic items
in Hasegawa's and Revell's large scale offerings, or the new Trumpeter
Razorback.
All the wheels are crisply detailed and perfectly cast,
with almost no cleanup required before painting and installation. Each wheel
is subtly bulged and flattened.
The resin wheels will also prove more durable than
Trumpeter's rubber tyres and are, in my opinion, easier to work with and
paint.
Contact Résine's latest batch of resin replacement wheels will be a welcome addition to your big
P-47 or SBD models, and a drop-fit enhancement too.
