The kit canopy was substituted with the Squadron vacform item. It was packed with Blu-Tack before cutting.

The panel line detail is crisper on the Falcon canopy, and it fits quite well with only minor modifications.

The sliding section was not quite tall enough to completely cover the canopy rails, so it was extended with plastic card.

The result was a workable sliding canopy - although that was not my original intention!

The canopy was masked with Tamiya tape.
