The cockpit was built as sub-assemblies and continually tested for fit.

Short lengths of wire and scrap plastic was used to enhance the already good detail of the kit cockpit.

A locating peg was cut from plastic tube and glued to the back of the engine. Splines from scrap plastic strip ensured a tight fit inside the firewall
