Hasegawa's 1/48 scale Spitfire Mk.Vb is available online from Squadron.com

Here are some pictures of my Spitfire Vb from 229 Squadron defending Malta in 1942.

This is the 1/48 scale Hasegawa kit. I added some extra parts in the cockpit.

The canopy is vacuformed and all markings are painted using masks except the serial.

The model was painted with Gunze acrylics. These planes suffered a lot in this battle so I took great care with weathering .
