Hasegawa's 1/32 scale P-47D Thunderbolt is available online from Squadron.com

This is my build of Hasegawa's new 1/32 scale P-47 Thunderbolt, in Francis Gabreski's colors.

I meant to build it as a 'fantasy' identity but that will have to wait until next time.

The model is built straight from the box with the only addition being Eduard's etched belts, which look great after assembly even though they almost gave me a heart attack while bending, gluing and ungluing myself from them. I am sure there is still a latch attached to my body somewhere.

The model was photographed in natural light with a canon 30D using a 210mm lens.
