These are the Platz Fw 190D-9 in 1/144 scale. You get two complete kits in the box with a choice of either canopy type which is neat. I built them straight from box apart from the aerial wire which was stretched sprue.

The airframes were painted with Gunze Sangyo lacquers and I left the tailplanes off as trying to mask these in this scale would be a nightmare.

The decals are superb and react settling down into the panel lines really well. The models were weathered ever so slightly with the post shading technique and the paint chips added with a pencil.

All in all two very neat kits, just be careful where you sit down though, they’re tiny.
