Hasegawa 1/72 scale conversion

Here is my 1/72 scale F9F-8P. This model was converted from the Hasegawa's F9F-8.

All conversion parts were scratch built.

The equipment and camera bay were thermoformed from plastic sheet.

Landing gear doors were made from the thin metal of a beer can!

Most markings were applied using the air brush paint by masking with the oil-base paint finish.

All the outdoor photos were shot against the natural sky.
