Description

Here is my 1/48 scale AMX, a 1/48 scale resin kit from Warrior Model.

I have built the kit straight from the box with the refuelling probe made with a brass tube and some correction for the panel lines on top of the fuselage.

Armament is from Hasegawa's sets.

But there is a problem. Some time after the model was finished, the soft metal gear legs started to bend under the weight of the resin. I drilled the tires and fixed the model to the base with brass tubes.

The shark mouth and various markings are hand made directly on the model with a pen (a steady hand is necessary!)
This aircraft is from 32mo stormo, based on the Amendola airbase,14 Km from my home! I can see AMXs fly over me almost every day! This particular aircraft undertook some missions over Serbia in 1999  ,with F-16s from Netherland and Belgium based at Amendola
