Tamiya's 1/72 scale F-84G Thunderjet is available online from Squadron
 

Here is my 1/72 scale Tamiya F-84G Thunderjet.

I just added some details at the front wheel well to hide the seam in there, I made hydraulic lines for the struts with fine cooper wire, substituted the piece inside the exhaust with cooper tubing and discarded the decal for the seatbelts, and instead I cut strips of Tamiya tape to represent them.

This is my first attempt using the Alclad system. I applied it over a coat of Future.

First I polished the plastic, then applied a coat of Future and after that I applied the Alclad tones (Aluminum, Polished Aluminum, Steel, Pale Burnt Metal and Chrome).

The markings come from the excellent Aeromaster decal sheet 72196.
