One of Andrea's short series covering construction and detailing of
Pegasus Models' 1/72 scale Blohm und Voss Bv 155 V1.
I know that I am a very slow modeler but I have to say that, in
addition, Murphy's Law has found its best application on my labour.
Anything that could go wrong, did go wrong.
I hope you like it. Anyway I will welcome comments.
My Blohm und Voss Bv 155 has been painted with Aeromaster RLM76 and
with slightly modified Xtracolor RLM81/83 following the Monogram Close
Up scheme. The mottling and the wavy line on the wing leading edge have
been "painted" with pastel powder applied by means of short hair
brushes.
I used Rembrandt pastels. The RLM 81 can be obtained by mixing Raw
Siena and Black, RLM 83 by mixing Chrome Green Light and Black.
Decals are from spare box, mainly Aeromaster.
The final coat is a very common Humbrol Satin Coat.
After the satin coat, the model has been weathered with pastels.
My next model ? I have not yet decided but it will be a Tamigawa kit
for sure!
