Revell's 1/72
scale Walrus is available online from Squadron.com for less than USD$8.00
This is an attractive and inexpensive 1/72 scale
Walrus model kit by Revell. Actually, is an old Matchbox mould reboxed.
Despite this, the surface is “rivet-free”, and the injection parts have
no imperfections.

This is really only fit for a fun project, as it demands a lot more work
for a completely accurate model.
I made some improvements, mostly in the engine, which is very exposed at
the top of plane.

The choice of the 5-color scheme painted in this version (HMS
Victorious, British Pacific Fleet, Japan, 1945 ) looks like hard work,
but was easy to make, after the elaborated pre-shading that I tried.
The weathering, a bit more emphasized, as is my preference.
