Tamiya's 1/48 scale F4F-4 Wildcat is available online from Squadron

 

Description

 

Here is my 1/48 scale F4F-4 Wildcat from Tamiya.

A number of items were scratchbuilt:

  • detail in the cockpit,

  • wheel bay,

  • engine interior,

  • landing gear and

  • brake lines

 

 

Decal were sourced from the Cutting Edge sheet for VMF-223 Capt. Marion Carl in the Guadacanal, Sep 1942.

Paints are Gunze acrylics C326+C71+C72,C-366,C-316
