Description

This is the old 1/48 scale Hobbycraft kit of the Messerschmitt Bf 109 C version. This kit has some shortcomings but construction was straightforward, except the join between fuselage with engine cowl, and fuselage with transparent cockpit frame.

Also, the elevator mounts are too long and they must to be cut.

I added some detail here and there.

I ignored kit`s versions and I made a plane of 10 (Natcht)/ JG 77, based at Alsborg in July 1940.
I used Tamiya and Xtracolor paints. I painted fuselage codes, and for crosses and swastikas I used Histori-Cals and kit decals.
