Vought SB2U-1 Vindicator

This is the Vought SB2U-1 Vindicator in 1/48 from HiPM.

I built the cockpit completely from scratch. The Twin Wasp Junior engine was based on 1/72 scale R-2600 cylinders from Aires and a crankcase from an early Twin Wasp in 1/48 from HiTech.

All the control surfaces are separated and the airframe has received various additional details.

The canopy is vacuum-formed.
