Tamiya's 1/16 scale Tiger II Production Turret is available online from Squadron.com

Here is Tamiya's big 1/16 scale Tiger II kit built straight from the box by Andrew Judson.

Photographing this monster was a challenge as it did not fit either on the standard outdoor base and background; nor on the indoor photo studio table. In the end, the photographs were taken on the back steps to provide a neutral background.

The sight of the real King Tiger chilled the hearts of many Allied soldiers. This big model of the Tiger II certainly had the same effect on my dog!
