T-6G Texan

Modelcraft's 1/48 scale T-6 Texan is available online from Squadron.com

Here is Modelcraft's 1/48 scale North America T-6G Texan Trainer in 1953 California Air National Guard markings. The T-6G featured dual rear position lights on the lower rudder and a football ADF housing behind the cockpit.

The T-6 was known in the U.S. as the Texan because of production in the Dallas, Texas plant of North American.

This was the final major variant of the T-6 family. The T-6G was phased out of the Air Force inventory during 1958.
