Supermarine Spitfire Vc

Airfix's Spitfire Vc will be available online from Squadron

Here is the forthcoming  Airfix 1/48 Supermarine Seafire Mk.IIIc kit converted to a Mk.Vc BR246 'B', possibly from 185 Sqn Malta 1942.

The overall paint scheme of 'Dark Blue' has been described by various enthusiasts as either Dark Mediterranean Blue, Light Mediterranean Blue, US Insignia Blue, USN Non Specular Blue to USN Blue Wooden Carrier Deck stainer or even Blue Maltese Automobile paint!!

The undersides are 'Light Blue'. Once again, speculation is rife whether it was Azure Blue, Powder Blue or Light Mediterranean Blue!!

All paints used were Humbrol and were airbrushed using my new Aztek 470 thanks to Jon Carr Farrelly!
