Academy's 1/48 scale Thunderbolt is available online from Squadron.com

Here is my Academy 1/48 scale P-47D Thunderbolt. This is Academy's second issue of the P-47D with different markings.

A number of references suggested that this aircraft was finished in RAF Dark Green and Sky. This combination on an American fighter was too tempting. Xtracolor enamels were used for the RAF colours.

The kit decals were used, and final weathering was achieved with Tamiya "Smoke" acrylic paint.
