Here are some pictures of my 1/48 scale Curtiss P-40E,
captured and operated by Japan.
I converted this model from the MAUVE 1/48 scale Kittyhawk
Mk. III (P-40M) kit.
The provisional marking suggest that the P-40E was captured by the Japanese
army, and used in the
air defence of Rangoon, Burma.
The pilots probably were Lt. Akira Takano et al., Det. 2nd Chu-tai, 50 Sentai.
