This is Hasagawa's 1/48 scale F6F-3 Hellcat dressed in an early version of Cdr. James Flatley's mount, CVAG-5 USS Yorktown, 1943.

The kit was supplemented with a Black Box interior and a Squadron Vac-Form canopy.
