Description

Many, many years ago, or more accurately decades, there was a manufacturer of name Lindberg that brought out a series of airplane models. With movable items including rotating propellers, they resembled toys as much as genuine models.

Despite this, their kit of the last of biplane-fighters by Curtiss for the US Navy was the only one in this scale for decades.

An engine from JMGT, putty in all colours as well as plastics in all sizes, cross sections and thicknesses helped to make genuine showcase "comrade" for my other "Yellowwings". The whole task took around 60 hours.

The machine represents the Leader of the Yellow 5th section of the VF-2 Hi-Hats.
