Bristol Beaufighter

Tamiya's 1/48 scale Beaufighter is available online at Squadron

Here is the 1/48 scale Tamiya Beaufighter Mk. VI.

The kit fits together very well. I choose the African camouflage scheme, because it was a welcome change from gray and green of the other planes on the shelves.

As I haven't got any documentation about this plane, it was build straight from the box.

To do the camouflage, I used tape and liquid Maskol. No problems were encounter with this method.

Weathering was achieved by spraying the base color with white or light gray added in the centre of panels. After, a black wash, I also used pastel for the guns and exhausts.
