Here is Italeri's 1/35 scale Zundapp KS750. It was built almost out of the
box. I've just added the brake lines using brass wire and I swapped tool bag
from Tamiya's Zundapp.
Painting
I started by spraying the entire model with Humbrol Grey 67 as a base coat .
Then I applied a lighter colour with 64 or 166.
I protected the colour with a matt varnish after 24 hours. I then began to paint
details. The tyres were painted with Humbrol 33 + 29. Engine 166+33 and
dry-brush with Humbrol Allu 11. Brake handles were painted 166 and 11.
The exhaust pipe I used Model Master n° 1785 (rust). The tool bag and saddle
Black Humbrol and Oil Burnt Sierra
I finish with dry-brush with matt 72.
Figure and Accessories
The Feldgendarm is from Dragon's "German Feldgendarmerie" set. I changed the
head to one by Hornet as I thought it looked more expressive.
The motorcyclist's coat was painted with Humbrol HP 4. The boots were painted
in Humbrol 33 then dry-brushed with matt 29 (also the coat). The helmet on
Zundapp is from Verlinden Products.
The road sign is from Tamiya Road Sign Set.
