Sukhoi Su 27B "Flanker"

Academy's 1/48 scale Su 27 is available online at Squadron.com

Here is Academy's 1/48 scale Sukhoi Su 27, enhanced with Cutting Edge exhaust nozzles, cockpit and wheels and a LOT of additional work around the airframe, the landing gear wells and legs.

Paints are from Aeromaster and Lifecolor. The camouflage was painted using low tack tape, but if I had had to do it again I would use a completely different method - Gunze paints and Tamiya masking tape!

The decals also come from Cutting Edge, but I had to modify them a lot in order to change the bort number from 48 to 57: thank you, Andy and Vincent!

The model is much more heavily weathered than suggested by the photographs. The light toned the whole thing down
