Supermarine Spitfire Mk.I

Tamiya's 1/48 scale Spitfire I is available online at Squadron.com

This is the Tamiya Supermarine Spitfire Ml. I built straight from the box.

The subject aircraft was one of three supplied to Turkey.

The model is painted with Humbrol 29-30. The black lower surfaces were painted with Tamiya paints. 

All markings are painted, and the model is weathered using chalk and "paint chipping" using Tamiya silver. 

Step areas are painted over bare metal then chipped.
