North American P-51D

This is my P-51D Mustang from Academy in 1/72 scale.

I used Verlinden's upgrade kit. The engine fits alright but the gunbays do not. This may be because it is made for the Hasegawa kit.

I used ExtraColor and Humbrol's Metal-Cote.

I like this little offering from Academy and I think that it looks more like a Mustang than Hasegawa's kit.
