P-26

Here is my Hobbycraft 1/48 scale P-26.

This model was built almost straight from the box. I used Aeromaster decals for a more colorful paint scheme. Speaking of the paint scheme, I mixed True Blue and Chrome Yellow to come up with a match for "Blue 23" which was used on P-26s.

One of the harder parts of this kit is getting the split cowling on the airframe, and then eliminating the seam. I used super glue for both tasks.

Finally, I used extra photo-etch from Accurate Miniatures F3Fs to rig the model.
