Tamiya's 1/48 scale Gekko is available online from Squadron.com

Here is the 1/48 scale Tamiya Nakajima Type 11 Gekko (Irving).

This model was a pleasure to build and I had no real problems during the construction. I think it makes into a good representation of the full size. For those who are interested the model measures:

• Length model 40'-0" (FS=40'-0")

• Wingspan model 55'-4" (FS 55'-9")

Full size measurements are those quoted in 'Moonlight Interceptor' the NASM book of the example they restored.

The breakdown of the kit suggests that we might see alternate versions of the Irving in the future.
