ProModeler's 1/48 scale Sabre Dog is available online from Squadron.com
This Pro Modeler's 1/48 scale North American F-86D Sabre Dog.

The kit was built straight from the box using the Twobobs Aviation Graphics
IPMS/USA National Convention Decal Sheet.
The Twobobs sheet presents the modeler with a colorful option to dress the
subject in the markings of the 42nd Fighter Interceptor Squadron stationed at
O'Hare International Airport.

Metal replication was achieved using an SnJ basecoat, a mix of Alclads, and
MM Metalizers. Eduard 1950's seatbelts were added to the seat for effect.
I chose to leave the brakes in the closed position based on the majority of
reference photos which showed them closed on the ground.

This Promodeler 1/48 subject was well worth the wait.
