F-100 Super Sabre by Fred Schwarz
This is the Monogram F-100D finished as a Michigan Air National Guard bird of the 107th Tactical Fighter Squadron. This aircraft was based at Selfridge Air National Guard Base, which is Northeast of Detroit, Michigan. The kit is mostly out-of-the-box except I replaced the kit cockpit with the wonderful F-100D cockpit from Black Box. I also made a brass rod refueling probe. This kit takes some work due to fit problem but builds up nice. I left the raised panel lines from the kit and I think they look fine. This is my first attempt at digital model photography. I used an Olympus 3000.
